Tapefly has just signed with Cauldron Soundwerx in the USA and will be releasing "The Lifting Of The Veil" through their new American label!

Tapefly has been in the making since 1999. When rock-producer Johan Forsman met Christina Löwenström with her background in the Swedish fashion industry where she has formed the image for Swedish entertainment and sports stars. Christina inspired Johan to make music with clear links from the past with a new modern sound.

Johan, who's background as multi grammy-awarded rock producer in Sweden has produced and arranged bands like "The Soundtrack of our Lives" (TSOOL) and "Caesars" and was nominated for a grammy in the US as the alternative rock act of the year with TSOOL. Unfortunately, Coldplay won. He decided to put his own work into a band-concept. On Tapefly's first album "Electric Bird" the band was inspired by the new technology as i-net comunication and by Vintage sci-fi authors like Philip K. Dick. 2 years after the release, one of the songs "Canine Prey" became an instant hit and topped the Swedish chart for 12 weeks when it was covered and translated into Swedish by Håkan Hellström. On the new album "The Lifting Of The Veil", Tapefly has taken inspiration from classic romaticism and the renaissance, as it seems world history is entering a new chapter.
